A Woman-owned Business Enterprise (WBE) and Detroit Based Business (DBB), ASI was founded in 1984 by President Karen E. Ridgway.  The firm currently employs civil and environmental engineers, CADD designers, field technicians and support staff.

ASI is a certified WBE and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), as well as a Detroit Headquartered Business (DHB).

ASI specializes in providing services on water resources projects. ASI works on small and large projects for public and private clients. ASI is up-to-date on regulations concerning storm water, floodplain, drainage, wastewater and water treatment projects.
